Sure-footed: The Strongman Nutcracker by Alessi. The walnut is placed between the red-white pedestal and the feet of The Strongman. Then you have to turn the weight located on top, until the nut yields with a loud crack.
Limited and Made in Italy
The Strongman Nutcracker is made in Italy. And since it is a limited edition, the nutcracker is both a kitchen accessory as well as a collector's item. The Strongman is produced 999 times and each nutcracker is numbered. The extravagant design comes from the Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.
Material and size
The fact that a Strongman cannot be made of plastic is clear. For this reason high-quality stainless steel and brass are used for the Alessi Nutcracker. 18 components are needed to make The Strongman look like it should. The "Strong Man" is, however, not only very strong, but also really tall with a height of 21.8 cm. It will thus surely be an eye-catcher. Please note that nuts are not included.
Circus collection
Clear the ring! The motto "Less is more" is completely thrown overboard with the Circus collection. Everything is a bit more colourful, humorous and creative. In addition to the Strongman Nutcracker, there is also a pretty corkscrew named The Jester or a music box, where an elephant balances on a golden ball: The Ballerina.
