The Clam table lamp was created by Ahm & Lund for the Fritz Hansen brand. Shells inspired the designers when creating the popular lamp made of mouth-blown opal glass and brushed brass. And so the light in it sparkles like a hidden pearl. The Musling lamp has already established itself as a modern lighting classic. It not only brightens up the room, but also the mood of the beholder, radiating timeless beauty and elegance with its aesthetic design and high-quality materials. Now, with the portable rechargeable battery version, there is a more practical version made entirely of polycarbonate.
Fritz Hansen - Visionary design since 1872
Fritz Hansen is an exclusive design brand characterised by timeless collections and world-famous classic and contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. The company was founded in Denmark in 1872. In the 1950s, the well-known designer Arne Jacobsen was responsible for design at Fritz Hansen. in 1979, the previously family-run company became part of Skandinavisk Holding. At the same time, Verner Panton was at the centre of attention as a leading avant-garde figure and had a huge influence on the manufacturer's design. The Clam Portable consists of a robust polycarbonate shade and base, a sturdy steel stem and an intuitive touch dimming function on the top. The luminaire is available in three elegant monochrome colours - white, neon grey and twilight blue - and the matt finish of the luminaire cleverly hides fingerprints, ensuring easy maintenance and a flawless appearance.The Clam portable table lamp is slightly smaller than its famous big sister. Its lampshade measures 17 cm in diameter, it is 31 cm high and has a base diameter of 10.2 cm.
