A classic in mini size: with a diameter of 30 cm, the PH 5 Mini pendant luminaire from Louis Poulsen is perfect for smaller rooms and is in no way inferior to the great classic PH 5.
Form and function
The designer behind the PH 5 Mini pendant is no less a designer than Poul Henningsen. The designer has always focused on creating luminaires that reproduce light as faithfully as possible.
PH 5 is based on an ingenious concept: the luminaire body is made up of various shades that provide absolutely glare-free light.
But that's not all: in cooperation with the Danish designer and colour expert Louise Sass, a colour concept was created that not only looks dynamic and playful, but also pursues a goal: Small red and blue umbrellas ensure that the colour spectrum that is worst perceived by the eye is enhanced. The PH5 Mini pendant luminaire provides an extremely harmonious way of lighting.
Technical details
Another concern of designer Poul Henningsen was to create a luminaire that would not be subject to changes in lighting technology. The perfect combination of shades and tinted colours always creates a warm and soft light - no matter if light bulb, halogen lamp or LED light source.
