Character chair: Rocker rocking chair by Mater
How casual is that? Just to sit in front of the fireplace, to let all five be straight and to swing back and forth. Rocker combines two old techniques - the girth technique and the wood craft - with modern design. Apropos design: The Rocker rocking chair was designed by Shawn Place.
Two colours
You can order the Rocker rocking chair online in a warm brown hue (Whiskey) as well as in a rich dark brown (Mustang). Also the wood is sometimes lighter, sometimes darker.
Material and size
The frame is made of FSC-certified oak, matt lacquered in the case of Whiskey and in the case of Mustang Sirka grey. The full grain leather used is vegetable tanned. This comes from Sorensen Leather from the "Harness" collection. Chrome or chemicals are taboo here. The fact that the leather has irregularities and changes over time is a quality feature. So every design rocking chair is unique.
Mater's Rocker is 59.5 cm wide, 86.5 cm deep and 78 cm high.
