The designer
Little Bird was brought to life by the industrial designer Jan Christian Delfs. He immediately had his first design tested my 18-month-old son immediately said ' beep, beep' when I showed him the first prototypes. That was a good indication that the simple design had correctly captured the essence of the birds," says Jan Christian Delfs. We can only agree with that.
Since 2006, the designer has been theowner of his own studio and has already designed many beautiful products for renowned companies. In addition, Delfs has been awarded numerous renowned design prizes . Maybe another one will follow with the Little Bird wooden bird...
Material and Format
Little Bird is made of high-quality oak wood - or more precisely: turned. Apart from the black mini beak, the rest of the bird is natural coloured. This makes the wood grain clearly visible, which gives the wooden bird a natural look. The design decorative figure is 10 cm high, the diameter is 5.2 cm.
