Undoubtedly, the "dot" attracts all eyes, especially because it swings so elatedly in front of you. The classic among the wall clocks is a colourful eye-catcher for young and old - for those who prefer a classic look, there is the aluminium version.
Versatile use
How much longer do you have before the long-awaited lunch break? Contrattempo by Rexite knows the answer. The design clock is ideal for offices, public buildings and private homes.
Material and size
You can choose between three dials: black, white and aluminium. The design watch is made of technical polymers. What's in it? A high-quality quartz movement and a rechargeable battery (LR6 1.5 V). The latter is included. The diameter of the Contrattempo clock is 45 cm, the depth 5.5 cm.
Design
The Rexite clock was designed by Raul Barbieri and Giorgio Marianelli. Barbieri was born in Milan in 1946 and Marianelli in Castiglioncello in 1939. Both have a degree in architecture. In 1968 Marianelli moved to Milan to work for Olivetti's design department, run by the famous Ettore Sottsass. There they met and founded an architectural office in 1974. In 1990 Marianelli opened his own architecture and design studio. He was awarded numerous prizes. Giorgio Marianelli died in 1998.
