Holborn focusses on the essentials: high-quality oak wood in an extra-thick version, square legs and the deliberate omission of frames.
The eye of the beholder is delighted by a highly minimalist dining table, which nevertheless whets the appetite for lavish meals.
As already mentioned, the e15 Holborn table is made from solid European oak, oiled oak to be precise. Thanks to its natural surface, oiled wood has true hand-flattering qualities. Holborn is no different. The wood grain is clearly visible. A steel substructure is built into the table top, which provides the necessary stability.
The design table from e15 is 230 cm long, 90 cm wide and 75 cm high. The table top is a real heavyweight with a thickness of 5 cm. The table is supplied in five parts.
Philipp Mainzer designed the e15 design table at in 2015. The German architect and product designer has already received several awards in his career, including the Iconic Award. Philipp Mainzer is also a member of the German Design Council and is happy to pass on his knowledge to others.
