Craftsmanship: Selandia Chair Outdoor Skagerak by Fritz Hansen
Selandia is sea air in the summer house, a cool breeze on the balcony and a wonderful get-together in the garden. The wooden chair speaks of Nordic nostalgia, but with a little French accent. Elegant and comfortable with curved shapes - takes up no space when folded. Simply good craftsmanship.
Material and format
The chair is 44.5 cm wide, 47.5 cm deep and 85 cm high. The seat height is 45 cm. It is made from 100% FSC-certified teak. As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn a beautiful silver grey. If you want to maintain or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil regularly. Due to the high content of natural oils, the wood is resistant to wind and weather in everyday life with or without treatment. Nevertheless, Skagerak by Fritz Hansen recommends covering or storing the furniture in winter.
