The perfect stool for all application areas: this is the Soft Edge 70 stool, designed by the design studio Iskos-Berlin for Hay. This stool is stackable.
Sophisticated design
The Soft Edge 70 stool is a successful combination of round and square elements. Desginstudio Iskos-Berlin has used an innovative technique to bend plywood into a three-dimensional shape. Normally plywood is only made into a two-dimensional shape.
The special technology creates a seat with ergonomic curves that make Hay's design stool particularly comfortable. Contrary to the curved seat, the four legs of the stool are straight. These are made of powder-coated steel and very durable. The steel legs add a touch of industrial flair to the design.
Hay
Hay is a relatively young design company, founded in 2002 and presented for the first time in 2003 at IMM Cologne. Hays guideline is to bring classical Scandinavian design influences into line with modern and contemporary shapes. In collaboration with emerging designers, drafts are created that are very popular worldwide.
