Timeless: Max Bill Junghans table clock from Klein & More
The particularly classic and timeless look makes the Max Bill table clock from Klein & More an attractive and practical home accessory. Whether on the desk or on the shelf, the table clock always cuts a fine figure. The original design was created by Max Bill in 1958 and was reworked by Klein & More in 2012 for the max bill by junghans series.
The clear design is 100% inspired by the Bauhaus style. A square in harmonious proportions and the use of high-quality materials such as mineral glass, brushed aluminium and fine wood are proof of this.
Designer Max Bill
The Swiss Max Bill was born in Winterthur in 1908. After his apprenticeship as a silversmith, he studied architecture at the Bauhaus in Dessau and from 1929 worked as an architect, painter, sculptor, product designer and university rector. He designed various watches for Junghans, which are still produced almost unchanged today. His design style is characterised by straightforwardness and simplicity.
Material and format
The table clock is equipped with a quartz movement. The white table clock has a white dial, while the black and walnut versions have a white face. An AA battery is required to operate the clock. It measures 17.4 cm in width, 5.5 cm in depth and 16.4 cm in height.
