About the designer
Japanese-born designer Daï Sugasawa draws his creativity from the power of different cultures. Daï Sugasawa started out as a designer with Christophe Pillet before setting up his own office in Paris in 2010 and working freelance for Philippe Starck. Sugasawa feels a connection to nature and Asian culture in his work: "My aim is to bring organic elements from nature into the human habitat and reconnect us with our original environment.
Material and format
The table top of the Ishino side table is cast from lightweight concrete, with a choice of three different metallised finishes: copper, brass or bronze - the finely designed ovals give the table its special charm. The table is available in three different sizes:
