Architectural: Gear table by NORR11
The Gear table by NORR11 looks like a small, block-like building. This is no coincidence. The designers were inspired by the brutalism of the 50s. Exposed concrete, expressive constructions, simple geometric shapes and rough structures were typical elements here.
The result is Gear, a wonderfully sculptural table that reflects these architectural elements. It captivates with an unusual surface structure as well as fluted details on the base, which give the design an exciting, organic look.
Sturdy tripod
Incidentally, this expressive piece of design furniture has other great features besides great craftsmanship. Not only the three-legged construction provides the necessary stability, but also the material used. The table is cast from fibre concrete, which also makes it resilient and extremely durable. And it is also a lot lighter than normal concrete.

Whether light or dark furnishing style, everyone will be happy here. Gear is available in the naturally beautiful colours Chalk and Earth. Depending on your needs, you can also order Gear as a coffee table (ø 70 cm, H 37 cm) or as a side table (ø 45 cm, H 48 cm). If you can't decide, simply combine both versions.
Design team Hansen & Hyldahl
Designer Tommy Hyldahl is the founder of NORR11. He is responsible for the creative DNA of the manufacturer and thus his interest in the materials and production processes shows in every single product of NORR11. Since 2015, he has been working together with Kristian Sofus Hansen, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The two designers are united by their passion for Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian tradition, which they combine in their designs to create timeless furniture.
NORR11 - Scandinavian Design
The Danish furniture manufacturer NORR11 was founded in 2011. The focus of the company is to redefine and rethink the understanding of Scandinavian design and thus create timeless pieces of furniture that combine the present and the past. This goal is achieved through collaboration with innovative young designers. This results in products of outstanding craftsmanship and quality.
Note: Due to the material used and the handmade production, unevenness and slight differences in colour may occur on the surface. Each table is therefore unique.
