Open doors with style: Art Déco 1930 lever handle from Tecnolumen

Discover the timeless design of Art Déco with the lever handle from the 1930s by Tecnolumen. This exclusive door handle comes from the former S.A. Loevy programme and is characterised by a design whose origin has not yet been clearly established.

The shape of the door handle shows lessthe simple Bauhaus functionality and more the influences of early Art Déco forms, which are characterised by Cubism. The shifted surfaces give the actually compact lever handle a light and elegant appearance.

Material and manufacturing process

Available in different versions such as matt nickel, polished nickel and chrome, this lever handle is manufactured by hand in Germany. The use of brass MS63, a proven copper-zinc alloy, guarantees the highest quality. The raw material is processed at 1400°C in a gas-fired casting furnace to create the perfect base for Tecnoline door handles.

Production is carried out with the utmost precision and care . After casting, the raw parts are ground, brushed or polished by hand to ensure a flawless and resistant surface. The door handles are given their final finish in an elaborate electroplating bath - individually attached by hand and dipped in nickel or chrome baths.

The individual parts go throughmore than twenty successive work steps before they are assembled into a door fitting. Each door handle is subjected to numerous intermediate inspections to ensure that only perfect parts make it into your home.
