Fish ahoy! The Fles bottle in witty fish design sets a funny highlight on every dining table, on every coffee table and on every desk. Many people drink too little, with the fish bottle designed by the Italian designer Paola Navone, one literally reaches for the fish bottle and fulfills its drinking quota in no time. The capacity of the bottle is 1 liter.
If fish, then properly, that is, including sheds, gills and bulging mouth - a perfect (guest) gift. Small tip: the Serax bottle is also great as a vase.
The designer
As already mentioned, the design of the Fles bottle comes from Paola Navone. The architecture magazine A & W selected the designer as designer of the year 2000. Navone is a master in multicultural design mix. Like no other she blends the influences of different styles and cultures. Cameroon, Thailand, Malaysia: Navone is a real globetrotter and feels at home all over the world.
The inspiration for the Fles bottle is not immediately obvious, the designer was inspired by the Great Depression of the 30s and the products produced during this time.
Material and size
The Fles fish bottle from Serax is made of robust pressed glass. The jade green is fresh. Through the transparent look you can also see how much the bottle currently holds. The fish bottle measures 10.6 x 7.5 cm, the height is 29 cm. The bottle is part of Serax's Fish & Fish collection.

A great classic table water container.
A classic design of table water glass, which I first saw in a small moules restaurant in northern France. The elegant design and colour meant we had to have one. Some internet searching revealed Einrichten Design sold this and other classic design items. Now our dinner table looks more complete and water more refreshing.
