Description
Aiming high: Klassik stacking bed by Müller Möbelwerkstätten
Multifunctional furniture is a great alternative to conventional furniture, especially in flats where space is limited. Up to ten stacking beds can be easily stacked. Apropos multifunctional: If you order the back cushion with it, you will have won a sofa in no time at all.
Excellent!
The stacking bed designed by Rolf Heide in 1966 can justifiably be called a design icon. The stacking bed was awarded the interior innovation award in 2003.
Material and size
The stacking couch is made of 9-times glued, 15 mm thick plywood - in Friesland. The plywood benefits from a highly durable, white CPL coating. The exposed edges are part of the DNA of the Müller furniture workshops.
The Rolf Heide bed is 23.5 cm high. The distance between the lower edge and the floor is 10 cm. We offer the stacking bed in five different widths: 80, 90, 100, 120 or 140 cm. The specified width and length refers to the lying surface, i.e. the mattress size. The frame is 3 cm longer and wider. For example, if the lying surface is 80 cm wide, the frame width is 83 cm. You will receive the design bed disassembled.
Central bar
From a width of 120 cm, the manufacturer recommends using a central bar for stability reasons. With two slatted frames, the centre spar is an absolute must.
Please note that you only receive the bed frame. You can also order the matching slatted frame, the matching mattress and other extras online.
