Carl Hansen & Søn - Danish design since 1908
What began in 1908 as a small furniture workshop on the Danish island of Funen has developed into a successful and globally recognised design company. Since the carpenter Carl Hansen founded the company, two aspects have taken centre stage: an uncompromising commitment to the finest craftsmanship and collaboration with exceptional designers. The development of Carl Hansen & Søn was significantly influenced by the well-known Danish designer Hans J. Wegner. The creative relationship with him began in 1949 when Carl Hansen's son met Wegner and enabled the then still unknown designer to create an extensive furniture series.
Material and format
Made from FSC®-certified teak, the sofa module impresses with its warm, natural look and outstanding durability. The dimensions are H 86 cm x W 146 cm x D 86 cm. The seat height of the sofa is 43 cm.
