Legendary: Spectrum Berlin Chair
As early as 1923, Gerrit Rietveld designed the Berlin Chair for a jury-free art show in Berlin. The design became one of his most famous. in 1960, two more versions of the unusual design were created for a project for the Rijksacademie van beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. The chair is made of eight separate boards, which gives it a particularly avant-garde and unusual design. Its iconic shape in combination with its colour shades grey, black and white make it a stylish eye-catcher.
Material and format
The chair is made of solid oak panels that are lacquered. It is 71.5 cm wide, 57 cm deep and 100 cm high. Its seat height is 45 cm.
