Flexible: Famille Garage children's bench Richard Lampert
Designer Alexander Seifried created this sturdy little children's bench for his award-winning Famille Garage children's furniture series and it is a clever design. Depending on the age of the child, the bench can quickly become the base for a chest of drawers. The bench top can then be used individually and is sure to find other uses in the children's room. There is a matching table for the bench as well as a whole range of other design furniture pieces from the Famille Garage series, which can be combined and changed as desired and grow with the needs of the child. The Richard Lampert children's furniture series Famille Garage was awarded the Interior Innovation Award in 2011 and the German Design Award in 2012.
Richard Lampert: Design made in Germany
In 1993, Richard Lampert founded his company in Stuttgart with the aim of industrially producing furniture and everyday objects that combine quality craftsmanship, design standards and sustainability. Richard Lampert's collections cover a wide range of areas, from outdoor furniture to living space and office furniture. Well-known designers such as Egon Eiermann and Herbert Hirche stand alongside unconventional and lesser-known international designers.
Material and format
The solid wooden bench is made of 5-layer board, solid spruce/fir, colourless lacquered and consists of a bench top and a small block, which can also be used as a stand for the small chest of drawers. The children's bench is 68.5 cm wide, 31 cm deep and 29 cm high. It comes with the matching table and the matching (changing) chest of drawers from the 2011 award-winning Famille Garage series by Richard Lamprecht.
