Designer Michele De Lucchi was inspired by it and designed a coffee maker for the Plissé collection from Alessi that is anything but functional. If you are looking for a filter coffee maker with a high-quality finish that also looks good, Alessi is the right address.
The folded design makes the coffee maker a sculptural object of timeless beauty. A slightly flared body and a protruding handle round off the appearance.
Material and format
The filter coffee maker consists of a machine with display, a heated base, a filter holder with lid and a mains cable. Plissé is available in three colours: black, grey and white. This colour selection offers a suitable model for every household and every kitchen.
The jug is made of heat-resistant glass, the lid and handle are made of polypropylene. The removable polypropylene water tank has a practical viewing window with a graduated scale. The filter holder and filter are made of polypropylene and mesh. The dosing spoon is also made of polypropylene and corresponds exactly to one cup of coffee. The polypropylene is BPA-free.
