Stylish: Elephant Lounge Armchair Dunes Leather Norr11
The modern interpretation of Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese aesthetics - the design duo Hansen and Hyldahl took inspiration from Danish upholstered chairs of the 1950s and designed an elegant, light lounge armchair. The back resembles the ear of an elephant and is the eponym for the simple yet extraordinary armchair.
Its shape offers maximum comfort. The two shells surround the body in a slight curve and thus nestle against the body. The Elephant Chair armchair is handmade from solid oak wood and is available with different leather covers.
Design team Hansen + Hydahl
Designer Tommy Hyldahl is the founder of NORR11. He is responsible for the creative DNA of the manufacturer and so his interest in the materials and production processes shows in every single product of NORR11. Since 2015, he has been working together with Kristian Sofus Hansen, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The two designers are united by their passion for Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian tradition, which they combine in their designs to create timeless furniture.

The Danish furniture manufacturer NORR11 was founded in 2011. The focus of the company is to redefine and rethink the understanding of Scandinavian design and thus create timeless pieces of furniture that combine the present and the past. This goal is achieved through collaboration with innovative young designers. This results in products of outstanding craftsmanship and quality.

The Elephant armchair has a frame made of oak wood and an upholstered seat shell with Dunes leather cover, each available in different versions.
