Plissé is a folding technique known from fashion and enjoys timeless popularity. The designer Michele De Lucchi took it as a model for his Plissé series by Alessi and created a collection of kitchen appliances that is anything but functional. The folded design allows the everyday helpers to become sculptural objects that stand out for their timeless beauty.
