Stand up, sit down: the 1510 high table by Thonet
With the 1510 standing table by Thonet, the 1500 programme has a shapely new addition that is ideal for conference and meeting rooms. The smart design by the Stuttgart designer Wolfgang C.R. Mezger is conceived with its height in such a way that work can be done while sitting or standing. Thanks to its warm wooden look and elegantly coordinated components, the 1510 high table always looks inviting and contemporary.
Thonet - design furniture with a long tradition
Thonet from Frankenberg in northern Hesse is not only one of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the world - the company has always had a keen sense for forward-looking ideas. As early as 1859, the company's founder Michael Thonet tried to design a simple chair that could be manufactured industrially by bending beech wood. The result was the inimitable chair no. 14, also known as the Viennese coffee house chair. In the 1930s, Thonet was the main producer of the revolutionary Bauhaus tubular steel furniture designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Mart Stam or Marcel Breuer, among others. Today, Thonet is still authorised to produce these furniture classics. The company is currently working with many renowned designers from all over the world to expand its own collection.
Material and format
The 1510 high table by Thonet is available in two different sizes:
- L 200 x W 100 x H 105 cm
- L 280 x W 100 x H 105 cm
The 30 mm thick table top consists of a Chipboard with optional real wood veneer, laminate or ThonetDur®. A chrome-plated foot rung is attached to the table legs. With the help of the extensive Configuration options you can assemble the table table according to your wishes.
