Lyngby Porcelain - the Danish porcelain manufactory

The history of Danish por celain in art and production was decisively shaped by the porcelain manufactory Lyngby Porcelain. It was founded in 1936 in a disused sugar refinery in Lyngby by the wholesale company Holst & Knudsen. The factory was equipped with the most modern technology of the time to bring the company's products to the forefront of the industry. Nevertheless, the company closed in 1969 and did not rise again until 2012. As especially the characteristic design of the Lyngby vase shows, the company's products combine classic craftsmanship with advanced production techniques. Besides the well-known and iconic designs, the company now also designs new creative and special products, which are nevertheless timelessly beautiful like the classics.
