Traditional beer bench in a new design: bench Ludwig Richard Lampert
The design bench Ludwig by Richard Lampert is the new interpretation of the classic beer bench by designer Alexander Seifried and is made of very high quality. Whether at a garden party, as a bench in the dining room or for a shared meal in the office - Ludwig fits everywhere. Big names like Google ordered the bench and matching tables back in 2013 to furnish their headquarters in London. The five-layer top made of weatherproof oiled and glued spruce wood and the folding legs, powder-coated in basalt grey or white for exterior resistance, make Ludwig a functional piece of outdoor furniture in the old tradition. The stainless steel bar guarantees rust-proofness. Of course, Ludwig is also an attractive and helpful party companion indoors. For this purpose, Ludwig can also be ordered lacquered with 10 % white. Ludwig is an eye-catcher - especially together with the matching table and seat cushions in the colours grey, red or blue. Nothing stands in the way of a celebration in a noble and visually appealing ambience!
Learned from the bottom up: designer Alexander Seifried
Alexander Seifried knows exactly how to build furniture. At the age of 18, he graduated from his carpentry apprenticeship as 2nd guild winner and then completed an apprenticeship at 3F Design in Stuttgart, specialising in interior design and furniture design. Only two years later, he presented his first own furniture collection and made it into the renowned manufacturing companies Richard Lampert, Magazin, frauMaier and Elmar Flötotto.
Richard Lampert: Design made in Germany
In 1993, Richard Lampert founded his company in Stuttgart with the aim of industrially producing furniture and everyday objects that combine quality craftsmanship, design standards and sustainability. Richard Lampert's collections cover a wide range of areas, from outdoor furniture to living space and office furniture. Well-known designers such as Egon Eiermann and Herbert Hirche stand alongside unconventional and lesser-known international designers.
Material and format
The Design Bench Ludwig consists of a five-layer board made of weatherproof oiled spruce wood, the bar is made of stainless steel. Ludwig is 220 cm long, 30 cm deep and 46 cm high. There are matching seat cushions in the form of non-slip needle felt pads in the colours red, grey or blue.
