Special: The Epic Dining Table Round by Gubi
Inspired by Greek antiquity and its monumental columns, GamFratesi designed the Epic Dining Table for Gubi. The use of the travertine stone results in a varied and always individual pattern. The natural stone has a rough surface and is treated with resin for the table to close the small natural holes and then given a protective treatment.
Design Studio GamFratesi
Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi form the design studio GamFratesi. Their style is based on a combination of tradition and modernity and is characterised by an experimental approach in which selected materials and techniques play a role. Thus, traditional Danish furniture and craftsmanship are combined with a classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.
