Antonio Citterio - Designer
Antonio Citterio opened his own design studio at the age of 22 and worked together with Terry Dawn on buildings in Europe and Japan from 1987 to 1996. Together with Patricia Viel, he founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture, interior design and graphic design in 2000. In addition to Vitra, he works with many other well-known companies in the design furniture industry, e.g. B&B Italian Flos, Kartell and Technogym.
Material and format
The backrest is made of polyamide with an upholstery of polyurethane foam with a cover in fabric or 3D spacer fabric. It is adjustable in height. The seat cushion is also made of polyurethane foam with a fabric cover identical to the back cover of the swivel chair. The base is a five-star base in polyamide or die-cast aluminium. The gas spring is black.
The armrests are available in different versions, adjustable in height, width and depth.
The chair has a Flow-Motion mechanism and can be locked in an upright sitting position. The backrest counterforce and forward tilt can be individually adjusted.
