String Furniture - perfect balance

The perfect balance between functionality and form is the goal of String Furniture. The manufacturer's shelving systems have developed into true design icons over the years for precisely this reason and are regarded as an example of timeless modern Scandinavian design. in 1949, the Swedish publishing house Bonniers organised a competition to develop an inexpensive, easy-to-ship and easy-to-assemble bookcase. The married couple Nils and Kajsa Strinning won the competition with their simple and minimalist shelving system, which can be easily mounted on any wall. This was the birth of the String shelving system. The design was further perfected over the following years to ensure that it remained not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.

The designer piece of furniture is available in different versions . It measures 60 cm in width, 30 cm in depth and 150 cm in height.
