Tidy up: the Happy Bin L wastepaper bin from Vitra. An office without a wastepaper bin? An impossibility! It's awell-known fact that where there's planing, there's shavings - or where there's writing, there's also a lot of paper waste: the special area of application of the Happy Bin wastepaper basket.
Incidentally, the name 'Happy' is no coincidence: the slightly curved shape and the blaze of colour are intended tobring a certain cheerfulnessand counteract office dreariness. Material and format
Happy Bin from Vitra is 37.5 cm high and made of polypropylene (PP). This thermoplastic material is a real all-rounder. From aircraft modelling to furniture - such as the world-famous Panton Chair by Vitra - to car interiors: the spectrum is almost inexhaustible.
The upper diameter of the Happy Bin is 30 cm, the lower diameter is 23 cm. You can remove the lid if you wish , for example to clean the waste bin.
Vitra
Founded in 1950, the Vitra label has its roots in Switzerland. The headquarters are located in Birsfelden in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The building itself is a real design highlight. It was designed by star architect Frank Gehry and is well worth a visit.
If you fancy a concentrated load of Vitra and would like to see all the design classics up close, but don't want to travel so far afield, simply make a detour to the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein.
