A true embrace - the Mbrace collection

The Mbrace collection was designed by Sebastian Herkner . His aim was to use a traditional weaving technique to create a collection of furniture that exudes an inviting living atmosphere. The name suggests it: "Mbrace" is the abbreviation of the English word "embrace". And that's exactly how embraced and secure you feel when you let yourself fall into the various seating furniture of the Mbrace series. Matching dining and side tables round off the product variety and complement it in colour.

Design by Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. Already during his studies, he focused on the design of objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Subtle details and the natural beauty of the materials used are the focus here. Herkner founded his own design studio in 2006 and has since designed products for numerous renowned companies. His work has already received several awards.

Material and format

The frame of the chairs is made of powder-coated aluminium and woven with the special DEDON fibre. The DEDON fibre is not only extremely weatherproof and can withstand neither cold nor heat, sun, rain or snow, it is also exceptionally colourfast, structurally stable and insensitive to chlorine and salt water. 

The seat and back cushions are made of weatherproof textile fabric. In addition, they have an anti-slip coating that ensures that the cushions do not slip even when lying comfortably. The cushions are covered with the fabric Twist Sand. The decorative cushions shown are not included in the set.

Care instructions: 

Clean with a soft cloth and warm water. Clean the teak with DEDON Teak Cleaner. To maintain the golden brown colour of the untreated teak, it is recommended to treat the floor with DEDON Teak Oil at least every six months.
