Designer Mikko Laakkonen
Mikko Laakkonen was born in Finland in 1974. He first trained as a musical instrument maker before studying furniture design at the Kymenlaasko University of Applied Science. Later he also received his master's degree from the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. He founded his own studio in 2004. He offers services in the field of product design with a focus on everyday things. Numerous international and national awards testify to his skills, including the German Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Young Designer of the Year Award.
