A master of his trade: The Dane Poul M. Volther
The trained cabinetmaker Poul M. Volther was personally appointed head of FDB Møbler's design studio by Børge Mogensen in 1950. His ideas on technical and design development have had a decisive influence on the image of the Danish manufacturer and have made a major contribution to the success story of FDB Møbler. Volther's own designs have been influenced by a deep understanding of craftsmanship and continue to inspire with their beautifully designed practicality to this day.
