The cantilever chair S 64 V is a timeless design icon - rethought in the exclusive collection JS. Thonet by Jil Sander. In close collaboration with the Thonet design team, Jil Sander has given Marcel Breuer's 1928 design a modern, radically reduced formal language.

For Thonet, Jil Sander has dedicated herself to furniture design for the first time and reinterpreted the tubular steel classics S 64 and B 97 in collaboration with the Thonet team. Under the title SERIOUS, they appear in an elegant titanium look with high-gloss lacquered wood details and a choice of leather upholstery in four colours or dark wickerwork Dark Melange. The B 97 SERIOUS side table set perfectly complements the cantilever chair - inspired by Breuer's B 9, but with a functional update: the open construction on one side allows the tables to be pulled over the sofa or bed, or alternatively they can be pushed into each other to save space. The table tops are available in four lacquer colours or as an elegant Nero Marquina marble version.
