This is a particularly cosy way to relax - unlike on holiday, you certainly don't have to reserve the BK14 sun lo unger with a towel. Its slim and streamlined design is inspired by the style of cubism.
Besides the sun lounger, the indoor-outdoor series by Kjær includes a lounge chair, a side table, a dining table, a two-seater bench, a rocking sofa and a dining chair. In addition, the furniture can be equipped with weatherproof cushions. You can find all pieces of the collection here in our online shop.
Bodil Kjær
The Danish professor and architect Bodil Kjær contributed significantly to the spread of Modern Danish Design by promoting the relationship between design and architecture. She approached furniture design from a technical point of view, closely interacting with modern architecture and the physical properties of the designs.
Instead of creating sculptural statements, the designer wanted to find functional, economical and aesthetic solutions.
