Behind bars: La Gabbia slide by Opinion Ciatti
La Gabbia (in German "the cage") is an expressive piece of storage furniture, designed by Lapo Ciatti. The name is no coincidence, as the designer was inspired by the Middle Ages as well as the symbolic meaning that goes hand in hand with the cage as an object.
Small library, exhibition space, plant shelf or even all at once - with La Gabbia you are free in the design and use. But no matter what you decide, the sculptural shelf is guaranteed to set your pieces wonderfully in scene and give your living spaces a unique ambience.
Material and format
La Gabbia is made of steel and aluminium. The slide is equipped with four shelves and decorated with a total of 24 rivets .
The decorative piece of furniture measures 42 cm in diameter and 168 cm in height. It can be ordered in the following three finishes:
- Matt black lacquered with nickel-black rivets
- Shiny stainless steel with chrome rivets
- Corten effect lacquer (rust-coloured) with rivets in 24 K gold
