Full of verve: the Lido lounger by wb form. The classic was designed by Battista and Guido Giudici back in 1936. For its 80th anniversary, wb form is now offering the cantilever chair in a new edition with a high-quality half-linen fabric - a return to the original fabric of the time.
Double function: Lido is a lounger and recliner in one, depending entirely on how you hang the fabric - either up or down. Another advantage: the weatherproof cantilever chair can also be stacked to save space, ideal if you have many Lido cantilever chairs on your terrace.
With the Lido lounger you will literally see red, brick red to be precise. Both the fabric and the two armrests come in this bright colour. The cotton content also gives the fabric a chic vintage effect.
The cover: weatherproof, comfortable and simply beautiful
Fora long time, the Lido lounger was only available with an acrylic cover. But wb form was determined to change that. The cover is based on the original fabric, both in terms of the way it is made and the colour. It is made in a small hand weaving mill in the Zurich Oberland.
Due to the double-twisted cotton yarns in the longitudinal direction, the fabric has a high fabric density, which makes it hard-wearing. The 4-ply twisted linen yarn, meanwhile, ensures the necessary suppleness, so that the cover adapts perfectly to the respective body shape of the person sitting or lying down. The lightfastness of the waterproof fabric is 7, which means "excellent". So nothing stands in the way of your next sun worship.
Further facts
The tubular steel frame is hot-dip galvanised and therefore defies all weathers. In the new edition of Edition Wohnbedarf, the Lido lounger comes with "new" armrests. The previous armrests have been replaced by high-quality PVC cords. The design cantilever chair measures 110 x 104 x 59 cm. If you are interested in the footstool, just contact us.
