Bauhaus Homage: Loom Doormat Heymat
The Loom doormat by Heymat is a tribute to the pioneers of Bauhaus design Gunta Stolzl and Anni Albers, who were among the first female students at the Bauhaus school in the 1920s. Less is more - the Bauhaus maxim is also reflected in the appealing and clear pattern of the Loom carpet.
Heymat - Scandinavian design
The married couple Sonja Djønne and Thoralf Lian founded Heymat with the idea of combining the high quality demands placed on industrial doormats with modern Norwegian design. Thoralf Lian's experience in the field of industrial doormats goes back to the knowledge of three generations. His wife Sonja Djønne, with her interest in interior architecture and design, brings the aesthetic component that creates the special look of Heymat floor mats. These are made of recycled materials that are not only good for the environment but also easy to clean.
Material and format
The doormats are made of PET, which is 50% recycled plastic. The back is made of non-slip nitrile rubber. The doormat is washable.
Note: The production of a Heymat mat involves a high degree of manual work. Therefore, there may be slight variations in size, colour and appearance.
