Material and size
The frame is made of black powder-coated metal, the shade of white fabric (riv.tex mesh fabric). The combination of black and white looks noble and timeless.
Macao 551 by Tooy is 90 cm high, the diameter is a stately 52 cm. The cable comes to a length of three meters.
Design
Corrado Dotti was born in 1970 in Brescia, Italy. After graduating in industrial design, he worked for four years with the famous architect and designer Matteo Thun. Subsequently, he was a member of the Armani Casa team, before Dotti became self-employed in 2007. Currently, Corrado Dotti is art director at DeRucciMilano.
