Hocus Pocus: The Magic Coat Rack from Mox

The Magic coat rack by Mox can transform itself. But this has nothing to do with magic, but with the intelligent design by Rupert Knopp, a renowned designer based in Berlin:

Between the opposing steel rings are three vertical columns that are attached to them via ball-and-socket joints. The struts can be easily rotated and aligned according to preference, purpose or available space. Scarves or bags can be hung on the columns themselves. The upper ring also has six coat hooks and enough space for hangers. Magic is thus a changeable design object whose appearance and functionality can be adapted to one's own taste.

Furniture to lean against: With this smart idea, the Swiss manufacturer Mox has made a name for itself worldwide - first and foremost with the iconic Pool shelf. And even though the range has been expanded by many other pieces of furniture during the company's 25-year history, the demands on the designers have remained the same: Clever in implementation and simple in handling - that's how the designs should be. The company is based in Herrliberg near Zurich, from where the durable products are shipped all over the world.

Material and format

The Magic coat rack by Mox is 167 cm high and has a diameter of 48 cm. The frame is made of powder-coated tubular steel.   The solid steel stand always gives Magic a secure hold, no matter how you align the columns.
