Piece of jewellery: Mamacloud pendant lamp from Belux
There are many luminaires, luminaires that do not necessarily look like the most beautiful clouds. The Mama Cloud luminaire from Belux combines imagination with technology. Not to forget: the stately dimensions. The smallest Mama Cloud luminaire has a length of two metres, the largest seven metres. For the latter, of course, an appropriate space is needed, a 20 square metre room would almost completely fill Mamacloud.

Design
A certain Frank O. Gehry, star architect and creator of countless buildings around the globe, is behind the design of the eyecatcher lamp. Clouds seem to have done Gehry good in general: The Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris also has the shape of a cloud.
The luminaires in the Cloud series consist of joined shell elements. The clou: You can change them according to your personal taste. Mamacloud has a modular structure and is made of polyester fleece with multiple finishes. The hi-tech material has several advantages: It can be deformed, is virtually tearproof, durable and also has sound-absorbing properties. Although polyester fleece has the appearance of paper, in contrast to paper it is flame-retardant. The LED light source is invisibly located in the centre of the "cloud".
