In 1922, Le Corbusier began his groundbreaking career in the studio he shared with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret in Paris. The two were united by a vision of design that would last a lifetime. In 1927, they were joined by a young, aspiring architect Charlotte Perriand. The collaboration of the three of the design icons resulted in a high-quality collection that is now known as a classic, initially named after Le Corbusier himself.
In 2022, the manufacturer Cassina decided to honour the other two designers more clearly and the series formerly known as LC and the associated furniture were appropriately renamed.
