These are the designer chairs of the Series 7 by Fritz Hansen, also called the Seven Chairs by designer Arne Jacobsen.
The revolutionary thing about the Seven Chair at the time of its creation in 1955 was the layered gluing technique used in its manufacture. This was perfected in the 1920s and 1930s by Soeren C. Hansen, the grandson of the company founder Fritz Hansen.
Arne Jacobsen, for his part, fully exploited the possibilities of laminated gluing and thus created the best-selling designer chair at Fritz Hansen to this day. A great addition to the Series 7 took place with the introduction of the version with armrests as well as the swivel chair version.
Whether at the dining table at home, in the office or in public waiting areas - with their curved shape, the Seven chairs always bring a touch of elegance to any ambience.
