With roots in Scandinavian design and a tradition of good craftsmanship, Skagerak is a design company from Denmark. It was founded in 1976 by Jesper and Vibeke Panduro, who live in the northern port city of Aalborg. Skagerak is the name for a strait that connects Denmark with its Scandinavian neighbours Sweden and Norway. It has been a decisive factor in the development of the Nordic region. The company associates itself precisely with it - unchanging and yet always in motion, traditional and yet new and experimental.
