Clear lines and a graphic shape - the Melete LED wall lamp by Artemide convinces with a simple design and a pleasant luminosity. The light shines upwards onto the wall and also diffusely downwards into the room through an opening.
The simple luminaire can be used in public as well as in private rooms, as it can be combined with a variety of interior styles due to its simple design.
Design brothers Toso
Pio and Tito Toso were born in Venice in 1971 and 1973. There they completed their architectural studies at the University Institute of Architecture. in 1996 they founded the studio PIO & TITOTOSO together. In addition to building projects in various countries, the two also work in industrial design with well-known companies such as Foscarini, Venini, Alessi or Rossi di Albizzate. They have already been awarded several prizes for their work, including Design Plus 2016, Selection at the International Compasso d'Oro 2015 and the Red Dot Design Award 2012 and 2015.
Material and format
The luminaire is made of lacquered die-cast aluminium. It is 22.8 cm wide, 13.8 cm deep and 5.5 cm high. The light radiates downwards and upwards.
