Luxurious: Melt Small Chandelier pendant light from Tom Dixon

The Melt Small pendant light brings luxurious aesthetics into your home. With its blow-moulded shades, the light looks like a work of art hanging from the ceiling. The shades create an ethereal glow in daylight and form fascinating luminous spheres at night. The opal version of this luminaire provides a strong luminosity, while the colour tone is reminiscent of natural pearls.

A special flair for innovation: Tom Dixon

Style prodigy, design star - Tom Dixon is now one of the big names in the world of design. There is hardly a design hotel that does without Tom Dixon furniture. Tom Dixon lamps shine in shop windows and showrooms of high-end boutiques and embellish exclusive salesrooms with their glamour. His innovative style, which combines glamour with elements of English period furniture, strikes a chord with young and old alike. Tom Dixon was born in Tunisia in 1959. He grew up in London as the son of an English father and a French-Latvian mother. His roots as a designer lie in the punk movement of the early eighties. As an eccentric performance artist in the London nightclub Titanic, he welded together his first design furniture on stage. No wonder that the lamps and furniture made by Tom Dixon are as striking as they are memorable, a mixture of rock design and unabashed glamour, always garnished with a certain pinch of British extravagance.

Material and format

The luminaire consists of slender steel tubes that are one metre high, with four iconic shades made of blow-moulded opal. The luminaire is 103 cm high and 98 cm wide.
