The Mercury ceiling light from Artemide has an almost sculptural appearance. With its reflective bodies made of injection-moulded thermoplastic with a metallic surface, it looks like a work of art. The light is emitted indirectly from the luminaire, further emphasising this effect.
Designer Ross Lovegrove
As a designer and visionary, Ross Lovegrove has made it his mission to change our three-dimensional material world with his designs. He is inspired by the logic and beauty of nature and combines technical and organic forms in his designs. Optimism and innovative vitality are at the centre of his work.
Material and format
The luminaire body is made of die-cast aluminium and the reflective body is made of injection-moulded thermoplastic with a metallic finish. The reflector is made of die-cast aluminium. The luminaire has a diameter of 70 cm and a height of 56.2 cm.
