More than 30 years ago, the designers Klaus Franck and Werner Sauer had already created a well-known classic with the FS-Line under their leitmotif of sitting without a driving licence. With the Modus series, they were now able to further develop this principle and adapt it to the aesthetics of the 21st century.
The Modus Basic swivel chair 263/7 is characterised at first glance by a flexible, fork-shaped back frame made of break-resistant high-performance plastic and a breathable high-tech fabric. In addition, there is a breathable upholstered seat with a softly rounded front edge that relieves the thighs and an integrated seat wedge prevents the pelvis from rolling. Particularly comfortable is the compact automatic synchroniser with torsion spring rods, which ensure an absolutely synchronised lowering of the backrest and seat.
