Mollis Sofa by Mater
The Mollis sofa is a real recycling beauty. Which sofa can boast an upholstery that is almost half made of recycled wool and looks really great on top of that? Mollis can do that!
"Mollis" is by the way the Latin name for 'soft'. And undoubtedly Mollis is a real softie when it comes to seating comfort. Thanks to the large seat depth (73 cm), the designer sofa is ideal for equipping it with a cushion armada. Apropos cushions: The two back cushions and a small cushion are included.
Material and size
The black frame is made of oak. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests. The upholstery is made of recycled wool: 45 % recycled wool, 45 % virgin wool (worsted yarn) and 10 % nylon. The Mollis Mater sofa is 203 cm wide, 81 cm high and 85 cm deep.
Design
Mollis was designed by the future-oriented Danish design duo Bykato. Behind them are Karl Rüdiger Rossell and Tonny Glismand, who have set themselves the task of designing furniture suitable for everyday use that also pleases the eye.
