Mono - The name says it all
Kasper Nyman has given his chair the appropriate name Mono, because the seat is made of a coherent piece of wood.
Since this would not have been possible with normal veneer techniques in this form, Woud has used to so-called Grada plywood during production. This thermoplastic oak wood can be pressed by heat and pressure in the desired shape. This creates the distinctive seating shell with the characteristic drop-shaped recess in the rear area, which makes the designer chair so unique.
