A masterpiece to walk on: Monolith Carpet 200x300cm by ClassiCon
Eileen Gray, an outstanding designer of the 20th century, not only designed some of the most important furniture classics of her time, but also had her own studio where she designed and had carpets made. The carpet collection by ClassiCon contains some of her most beautiful designs.
This design is based on the gouaches and pencil drawings of Eileen Gray from the 1920s. This unique design features beige horizontal and vertical lines in various lengths that elegantly accentuate the earthy dark grey background.
Material and format
The Monolith carpet is hand-knotted in Nepal to the highest quality with a density of 96,000 knots per square metre. Made from 100% finest New Zealand virgin wool, it guarantees not only exceptional durability but also a comfortable feel underfoot.
