MOS is a furniture series designed by the GamFratesi design duo that plays with elliptical shapes. In keeping with the Thonet tradition, elements of curved beech wood and Viennese wickerwork are also found in the MOS CABINET cabinet. GTV Design - Michael Thonet's legacy
The traditional company Gebrüder Thonet Vienna goes back to the German-Austrian master carpenter Michael Thonet, one of the most famous furniture manufacturers of the industrial age. The legendary bentwood furniture with its elements of Viennese wickerwork have become timeless bestsellers and still ensure that the manufacturer enjoys great international renown today. The iconic N. 14 chair was built over 50 million times between 1850 and 1930, making it one of the most famous, best-selling pieces of furniture in the world.
Material and format
In the cabinet made of beech bentwood frame with brass feet, four shelves made of lacquered, open-pore ash wood are wrapped in Viennese wickerwork.
